DefenceTech Ltd in the UK is seeking a High Speed Digital and Hardware Design Lead to oversee the detailed design of high-speed digital electronics and to guide cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle. The role emphasizes MPSoC FPGA, DDR memory and high-speed interconnect design, with a focus on testability using VHDL and software support in C/C++, Python.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex, high-speed digital electronics design.
• Experience in MPSoC FPGA, DDR and Flash memory and high-speed interconnect design.
• Experience in SI and PI analysis.
• Proficiency in VHDL to support board-level testing and debugging.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python for testing.
• Familiarity with DSP concepts for SDR, radar signal processing and optical sensors.

Responsibilities

• Work across multidisciplinary engineering teams to specify elegant and optimised solutions that satisfy customer needs.
• Focus on the detailed design of high-speed digital aspects, and participate in other electronics design activities through the full product development lifecycle.
