Location: Hull
Salary: £45,000 -£50,000
Overtime paid at 1.3
Shift: Days -7am -5pm and 8am -6pm -1/2 Saturdays 8-12

About your new company

My client is a large family run logistics company who are now looking for skilled Senior HGV Technicianto lead a motivated team of technicians in their Hull workshop, as the workshop foreman you will oversee the day to day running of the workshop & support the technicians in the below duties

About your new Senior HGV Technician role
• Overseeing Technicians, in charge of maintaining stock levels , managing workloads and scheduling quality and compliance documentation ensuring clear communication/team work.
• Perform day to day vehicle/trailer repairs and inspections in the workshop and also at other sites
• Undertake the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures.
• Ensure that all relevant administration and documentation are to the correct standard. (Service sheets, Job cards , parts) working with the admin team
• Liaising with the drivers and traffic department to ensure all the vehicle Servicing , defects and issues are dealt with straight away.
• A solid understanding of electrical systems , fleet management systems and DVS compliance


The successful Senior HGV Technician will have

• Fully Qualified LGV workshop Technician who has the desirable skills to progress within the business
• HGV Level Qualification.
• Knowledge of IT , fleet management and Diagnostic Systems.
• Welding and Fabrication Skills.
• HGV license
