Job summary

Stantec is seeking Heritage Consultants to work across the UK on water, highways and infrastructure projects. You will contribute to data searches, desk-based assessments, client liaison, and mitigation planning, applying sound multi-period knowledge of UK archaeology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Archaeology or heritage-related subject with relevant experience.
• Corporate membership of professional bodies or working towards within 12 months.
• Sound multi-period knowledge of British archaeological resource and policy framework.

Responsibilities

• Undertake data searches, desk-based assessments and heritage screening.
• Manage client liaison and negotiation with planning authorities and advisors.
• Develop mitigation strategies for projects from small to nationally significant.
• Contribute to mapping, project management and high-quality consultancy outputs.
