Job summary

Flynn and Chase in London is seeking a Senior Investment Professional to join its Hedge Fund manager selection team. You will lead sourcing, screening, and analysis of new hedge fund investments and present proposals to the investment committee.

You will work with portfolio managers on multi-alternative strategies, contribute viewpoints on themes and manager positioning, and participate in due diligence, market research, and client-facing discussions. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• Progress towards CFA designation strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years' Hedge Fund manager selection experience.
• Experience with systematic and quantitative strategies.
• Strong analytical ability and close attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, screening, and analysis of new Hedge Fund investments.
• Perform in-depth due diligence, build supporting models, and present proposals to the Investment Committee.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers on multi-alternatives and client mandates; contribute views on themes and positioning.
• Represent the team in investment reviews and respond to internal/external client requests.
• Produce market research and thematic analyses on Hedge Fund industry and portfolio construction.
• Support business development and fundraising; participate in client/prospect meetings.
