Job summary

LGT Capital Partners AG in London is expanding its Hedge Funds manager selection team. The Investment Professional will lead sourcing, screening, analysis and execution of external managers, leveraging the firm’s platform.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in Hedge Funds, and collaboration with portfolio management and clients. Travel is expected, and CFA progress is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or economics.
• Progress toward CFA designation preferred.
• 4–6 years in Hedge Funds manager selection or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, screening, analysis and execution of investments for Hedge Funds.
• Conduct in-depth investment due diligence and modeling.
• Prepare investment proposals for the investment committee.
• Interact with portfolio management and client mandates on themes.
• Support client meetings and periodic investment reviews.
• Contribute to market research on Hedge Funds and portfolios.
