Job summary

Edgworth Partners Ltd in London is seeking a Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst to join its hedge fund investment team. You will take ownership of manager research, conduct due diligence, and contribute to manager selection and portfolio construction within a small, collaborative group.

The role also supports the development of the firm’s SMA platform, covers macro, fixed income relative value, commodities and volatility, and offers opportunities to mentor junior analysts and engage with

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hedge fund research experience.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies.
• Experience with SMAs would be a distinct advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead manager sourcing across assigned strategies.
• Conduct detailed investment due diligence and evaluate processes, risk, and performance.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Monitor existing investments through regular meetings and ongoing research.
• Contribute to portfolio construction, manager selection and position sizing discussions.
• Support manager assessment and selection for the SMA platform.
• Mentor junior analysts.
