Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting is seeking an experienced sales professional to join a well-established supplier of specialist commercial vehicle and handling equipment, covering the South of England. The role offers a competitive salary and an unrivalled commission scheme within their sector.

You will manage an existing client base while developing new business, selling high-value capital equipment, and working closely with the MD to secure long-term customers and high margins across the UK.

Qualifications

• Capital equipment sales experience preferred.
• Ability to manage high-value, low-volume sales.
• Experience selling material handling equipment, agriculture, commercial vehicles, heavy plant or similar.
• Willingness to work on long-term strategic customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Managing an existing client base across the South of England.
• Business development across areas selling heavy/big trucks, reachstackers, container handling & other handling equipment.
• Liaise heavily with an internal sales person to provide ongoing customer engagement.
• Work with the Managing Director to strategically acquire new customers and achieve high margins.
• Account manage effectively by ensuring customers' service requirements are met by the engineering team.
