Job summary

Geowarmth are recruiting a Senior Heat Pump Engineer to lead installation, commissioning and maintenance of high‑performance heat pump and emitter systems in domestic properties. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Plumbing/Heating or Heat Pump qualification from a recognised body.
• Completion of Heat Pump manufacturer installation courses.
• National Certification for Unvented Hot Water Systems: G3 or proven experience.
• Water Regs WRAS qualifications.
• CSCS or equivalent health and safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and mentor junior engineers, providing on‑the‑job training.
• Manage and execute complex installation and commissioning projects.
• Perform system installations including underfloor heating and radiator networks.
• Conduct planned maintenance, diagnostics and performance assessments.
• Lead fault‑finding and repair work on electrical and plumbing issues.
• Ensure work is documented, inspected and compliant with standards.
• Champion safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
• Manage client interactions with clear technical explanations and handovers.
• Coordinate with project teams to plan resources and milestones.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
