University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to join our inpatient ward team. You will assist with clinical and non-clinical tasks, supporting patients with dignity and compassion in a busy acute hospital environment.

We require enthusiasm to learn, GCSEs at grade C/4 in Maths and English (or Functional Skills 2), and a Level 3 qualification (NVQ/BTEC or A levels).

Qualifications

• Maths GCSEs Grade C/4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification
• English GCSEs Grade C/4 or above OR Functional Skills Level 2
• Level 3 qualification: Full NVQ Level 3/BTEC or equivalent ‘A’ levels

Responsabilités

• Assists with a range of clinical and non-clinical tasks, supporting ward staff and patients
• Supports patients through their journey and helps maintain a smooth, efficient service
• Ensures patients are treated with dignity and respect as part of a close-knit team
• Works across shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays
