NHS Scotland is looking for a part-time Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join their team at Caithness General Hospital in Wick. This role requires a compassionate individual to provide quality care for patients in a busy rehabilitation ward. You will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver crucial support, enhance patient wellbeing, and contribute to their recovery goals.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly team within the Bignold Wing at Caithness General Hospital, Wick.
We are a busy 21-bed post-acute and rehabilitation ward. We care for a variety of complex conditions such as stroke and neurological conditions, orthopaedics and elderly care. This has led our team to develop an advanced skill set in many different areas of nursing.
As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will be supported in completing further training and gaining the experience needed to deliver a high standard of evidence based patient centred care. You will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary team and will play a key role in implementing rehabilitation goals. You will also be an essential team member by supplying pressure area care and personal care to vulnerable patients.
This is a permanent part-time post of 34.10 hours per week, covering across a 7-day rota and working a rotational contract in accordance with service requirements.
