Come and join the Gynaecology Team within Women and Children's division at North Bristol NHS Trust!
We are looking for a positive, proactive and caring support worker to join our fast paced, varied and supportive Gynaecology Team. The Cotswold ward team are dynamic, forward thinking and constantly striving to improve their patients' pathway.
We provide gynaecology care, pregnancy care, and support for baby loss within early pregnancy. We are a 19 bedded ward with an additional day case area and conduct a gynae emergency clinic Monday-Friday.
You will work closely with the team to deliver a compassionate, high-quality, responsive service to meet the needs of women. You will be working closely with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
The successful candidate would need to meet the education requirements for this role and currently be working at the Senior Healthcare Support Worker level, having completed the relevant training and clinical competencies required for the role.
A Senior Healthcare Support Worker (SHCSW) is a core member of the team delivering direct care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate healthcare to people in accordance with assessed needs and a care plan.
You will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare, or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner, in accordance with the Trust values.
There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, specific to your needs. Training will be provided to ensure you have the required core skills and skills set specific to your area of work.
