Job summary

Medtronic in the United Kingdom is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to support IMS, cycle counts, and replenishment within hospital environments. You will work onsite with hospital stakeholders, coordinate product returns, and generate reports to optimize supply chain performance.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, healthcare logistics experience, and fluent English, with limited travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital materials management or healthcare logistics.
• Experience with inventory systems, replenishment processes, and stock optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for the Inventory Management System (IMS) and support users across hospital and IHS teams.
• Execute and monitor ordering, receipt, storage, replenishment, and consumption activities within scope.
• Manage inventory settings, par levels, and replenishment parameters to maintain product availability and accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts, analyze inventory trends, and reduce obsolescence and excess inventory.
• Coordinate product returns with suppliers, IHS back-office teams, and hospital stakeholders.
• Generate, review, and distribute daily, weekly, and ad hoc inventory and operational reports.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and drive resolution of issues.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
