Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United Kingdom is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to support IMS and manage ordering, receipt, storage, and replenishment for hospital supplies within the IHS Managed Service program. The role is onsite in the UK with limited travel.

You will analyze inventory trends, perform cycle counts, coordinate returns, and generate reports to maintain product availability and accuracy, partnering with hospital stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital materials management or healthcare logistics.
• Experience in Cath Lab/OR hospital environment or healthcare supply chain setting.
• Experience managing inventory systems, inventory controls, replenishment, and stock optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Inventory Management System (IMS).
• Execute and monitor ordering, receipt, storage, replenishment, and consumption activities.
• Manage inventory settings, par levels, and replenishment parameters.
• Perform cycle counts, analyze inventory trends, and reduce obsolescence and excess inventory.
• Coordinate product returns with suppliers and hospital stakeholders.
• Generate, review, and distribute daily/weekly inventory reports.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and drive resolution of issues.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory performance.
