Location: The Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate, Kent
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, full-time with flexible options
Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum (Band 3)
The Critical Care team provides care for critically ill patients on our intensive care unit. The team is dedicated, innovative, and supportive, offering opportunities for career development and interdisciplinary collaboration. We work closely with specialties such as anaesthetics, surgery, and medicine, fostering a thriving learning environment.
The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) supports the nursing team by performing assigned tasks involving direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
Essential qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English, Care Certificate
Desirable qualifications: NVQ Level 3
Experience: Recent clinical experience in an acute Trust, evidence-based practice delivery
Skills: Basic IT skills, good communication, time management, personal organization
