We are hiring for a Senior Support Worker at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, which offers rehabilitation, care, and support to individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions. Our goal is to help each person feel safe, happy, and empowered to live their best life.

This role involves working in a psychology-led, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, specialized care for neuro-disabled or brain-injured clients.

What You'll Be Working

• Full-time, 38.5 hours per week
• Flexible days and nights, including weekends on a rota

Responsibilities

• Support individual needs per Person-Centered Plan (PCP)
• Lead by example in care, communication, and professionalism
• Supervise and coach support staff during shifts
• Handle incidents, queries, and emergencies as the primary contact
• Assist with audits, medication administration (Hazelwood Unit only), and care documentation
• Perform personal and intimate care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with eating and toileting
• Support clients with physical disabilities using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Uphold confidentiality and represent the organization professionally
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to policies
• Work flexibly across sites, including additional hours and holidays
• Complete mandatory training

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy Level 2
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to obtain
• Experience in a support role
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
