Job summary

Irwin and Colton in Scarborough is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across a manufacturing site. You will deploy and coordinate the site's policy, shape culture, and influence leaders from shop floor to executive level.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing safety strategies, leading risk assessments, establishing safe systems of work, and guiding incident investigations to deliver continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma required.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing environments, preferably food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ISO 45001 and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing health & safety strategies aligned with legal and regional standards.
• Leading risk assessments and establishing safe systems of work to mitigate hazards.
• Influencing and coaching site leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ownership at all levels.
