Job summary

GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is recruiting a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join the Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability Health and Safety team. You will provide advice and support on all H&S matters and deliver training across the service.

You must hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), be IOSH certificated or working towards Chartership, and have practical H&S management experience. Driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma in occupational health and safety or equivalent.
• Certificated IOSH Membership or working towards Chartership; practical H&S management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and support on health and safety matters across the service.
• Attend committees and meetings with senior management.
• Deliver a range of Health and Safety training courses.
• Monitor and review the Service’s H&S management standards and objectives.
