Senior Health and Safety Advisor

Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £33,000 + Great Benefits

Are you seeking a dynamic and varied role that offers exposure to a diverse range of industries? Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional ready to step into a more senior role with a thriving consultancy? An award-winning business support provider is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join their Manchester-based advisory team.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of health and safety guidance, working directly with a wide variety of UK businesses to ensure legal compliance and promote safe working environments.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Health and Safety Advisor will include:

1. Providing expert Health & Safety advice to clients across various sectors, including Fire Safety, Food Safety, and high-risk industries like construction.
2. Taking a senior role within the advisory team, offering leadership in the absence of the principal advisor and mentoring other advisors.
3. Delivering clear, practical advice via phone and email, assisting clients with online systems, and making proactive service calls to enhance safety performance.
4. Reviewing and improving client documentation such as risk assessments and management systems, liaising with external agencies, and contributing to technical resources and guidance materials.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Has proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally in construction, but other relevant experience will be considered.
• Is organized, professional, safety-driven, with previous leadership or mentoring experience being advantageous.
