Job summary

IQVIA seeks an Associate Principal for the DTAS HE/HTA practice to lead complex HE/HTA engagements for life sciences clients. You will guide project teams, drive client satisfaction, and develop new business opportunities while delivering high‑impact analytical solutions.

You will shape strategy, coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams, and provide intellectual leadership through client-facing reports and presentations, with frequent travel and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Typically 7–10 years professional experience in HEOR or HTA within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
• Subject matter expertise in health economics, evidence synthesis and HTA (HE modelling, evidence/HTA strategy, SLR, ITC, GVD, scientific advice)
• Strong analytical, interpretative and problem‑solving skills
• Experience in life sciences/healthcare industries
• 2–3 years project management/leadership in strategic consulting engagements
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations and meetings
• Ability to manage large/multiple projects and prioritise to meet deadlines
• Experience working in multi‑disciplinary teams
• Ability to build relationships with senior managers/executives
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies and tools
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel
• Right to live and work in recruiting country

Responsibilities

• Manage or lead engagements and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery for HE/HTA projects
• Provide client leadership and serve as primary contact
• Develop and deliver client reports and presentations
• Lead and coach junior team members
• Develop new business opportunities and proposals
• Elevate HEOR knowledge through training and IP development
• Oversee bid integrity and proposal processes
• Contribute to go‑to‑market thought leadership and publications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality outputs
• Support client satisfaction and ongoing relationship building
