Job summary

IQVIA, the Human Data Science Company, is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal for the DTAS Global Strategic Advisory Consulting team in Cambridge. You will guide life sciences clients through strategic, technological, and operational challenges, shaping high‑impact engagements for VP+ stakeholders and driving revenue growth.

You will lead cross‑functional collaboration, ensure delivery excellence, and build long‑term client partnerships while expanding advisory opportunities across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree or MBA not required but advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years’ professional experience in consulting or the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, with demonstrated career progression.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, developing people, and delivering high‑impact client engagements.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Advisory Services and DTAS ecosystem to design integrated, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Own client engagements end‑to‑end, ensuring satisfaction, quality and measurable value, while identifying follow‑on opportunities.
• Develop and deliver high‑impact, tailored proposals to meet revenue targets.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership across projects, communicating insights to senior stakeholders.
