Job summary

GTS Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to tackle the hardest hardware design work across automotive, defence, aerospace, medical and space sectors.

This bench-focused role requires autonomous problem solving, a strong analogue/digital background with MCUs, Altium experience, and the ability to drive designs through from concept to production while ensuring EMC/safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Own the hardware design from architecture to production.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Mixed analogue/digital design with microcontrollers.
• Experience with Altium schematic capture.
• Lab bring-up, measurement and fault finding on your own work.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design of the hardware you're handed - architecture to proven, manufacturable product.
• Circuit design, component selection, worst-case analysis and simulation.
• Setting constraints and guiding PCB layout engineers through the process.
• Board bring-up, test, measurement and fault finding - hands-on, in the lab.
• Design for manufacture, test and EMC/safety compliance.
• Defending your design decisions in front of clients and in design reviews.
