Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems - United Kingdom is seeking Senior Hardware Engineer / Principal Hardware Engineer to join our hardware engineering team in the UK. You will lead hardware design, integrate electronics into larger products, and mentor junior engineers.

You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, with potential for hybrid home/office work and a salary range of £46,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified in hardware, electronics or electronic systems engineering.
• Understanding of electronics engineering challenges.
• Ability to describe requirements and interfaces at subsystem level.
• CEng or equivalent desirable; company supports pursuing CEng.
• Experience with AI/ML models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design and development of electronic systems.
