Job summary

Surrey Downs Health & Care Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Hand Therapist to lead and grow our MSK Hand Therapy Team. Experience in NHS hand therapy and managing patients across Acute Elective, Acute Trauma, Plastics and Rheumatology is essential.

The role involves autonomous service delivery, education of staff, and driving clinical development with a strong governance focus.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a Hand Therapy Service is essential.
• NHS experience preferred, with exposure to Acute Elective, Acute Trauma, Plastics and Rheumatology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide effective hand therapy services, working autonomously.
• Organise, manage, evaluate and develop the hand therapy service and deputise for the Operational Lead as required.
• Educate and train undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare professionals.
• Identify clinical research, audit and data priorities to drive service development.
