Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Day Treatment Unit (DTU) in the Churchill Hospital. The role focuses on clinical and managerial leadership for the safe delivery of SACT and high-quality patient care within a dynamic MDT setting.

This fixed-term contract for 12 months requires experience in SACT administration, strong communication, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration of SACT.
• Experience leading a day unit team.
• Excellent communication with MDT and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist unit nurse manager with clinical and operational leadership for staff and safe SACT delivery.
• Collaborate with MDT to ensure high-standard patient care at the DTU.
• Support development of clinical practice and maintain consistent day-treatment focus.
• Travel between Churchill and Horton DTUs to provide cover when required.
