Job summary

Your Jared is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Consultant - Construction to deliver high-level consultancy to diverse clients, including project-based support, incidents, audits and training. You will help clients comply with legislation and safety management systems.

The role requires robust H&S expertise, audits, client management, and CPD activities, with a focus on construction safety and UK regulations. This remote, permanent position offers specialist, impactful work.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline
• CMIOSH or ex-HSE Inspector
• NEBOSH Fire Management/Fire Risk Assessment
• Water Responsible Person qualification (City & Guilds)
• Strong knowledge of HTMs
• Lead Auditor or auditing experience
• NEBOSH Construction knowledge
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
• Strong Business English (written)
• Strong reasoning skills
• Align with company values
• Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation

Responsibilities

• Provide professional consultancy across health and safety, including fire safety advice.
• Produce written guidance, risk assessments, policies and other documentation.
• Conduct audits of client premises and activities, delivering practical reports.
• Identify training needs and deliver bespoke client training.
• Manage client relationships and commercial arrangements, including retained clients.
• Maintain CPD in line with IOSH requirements and contribute to internal knowledge.
