Job summary

Impact HR Services Ltd is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Consultant to deliver expert, pragmatic support to clients across the UK. You will manage a portfolio of clients, provide strategic and day-to-day H&S guidance, and ensure high standards of documentation and compliance.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK H&S law, NEBOSH qualification, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Remote work with travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant practical health & safety experience, ideally within consultancy or a multi-site environment.
• Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate level or equivalent.
• Membership of a relevant professional body, such as minimum TechIOSH level or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation, guidance and best practice.
• Experience of undertaking health & safety audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Experience of developing policies, procedures, risk assessments and other health & safety documentation.
• Strong consulting, influencing and coaching skills.
• Confidence in communicating health & safety requirements in a clear, pragmatic and proportionate way.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients with phone, email and onsite/virtual support.
• Deliver hands-on health & safety consultancy aligned with UK legislation and best practice.
• Develop practical risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Support clients in implementing recommendations and maintaining compliant arrangements.
