Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Gynaecology Outpatients) to provide compassionate support within Specialist Gynaecology Outpatients.

The role involves assisting with clinic setup, patient care, and adherence to infection control and privacy standards. The post is Band 3 within the NHS AfC framework, permanent and full-time (37.5 hours weekly, Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm).

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude to Women’s Health.

Responsabilités

• Provide a welcoming environment in the department.
• Support care of and chaperone patients attending general and specialist outpatient diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Carry out assigned tasks involving direct care as directed by nurse in charge.
• Chaperone patients undergoing clinical procedures and treatments.
• Assist patients with personal care and hygiene when needed.
• Ensure waiting areas are clean, safe and conducive at all times.
• Utilise moving and handling aids to reduce risk of injury to patient and staff.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure accurate records and labelling of samples.
