About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Department Description

Growth is a critical function at Allica, sitting at the intersection of marketing, product, sales, and data. Our team is responsible for driving sustainable and scalable customer acquisition, engagement, and retention—ensuring our banking solutions reach and resonate with the right SMEs at the right time. Growth is both a science and an art. We blend commercial strategy with deep customer understanding, leveraging data to uncover new opportunities while ensuring every touchpoint aligns with Allica’s mission to empower established SMEs with the banking they deserve.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Growth Analyst to support the Growth Manager in shaping and optimising our acquisition strategy.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our customer acquisition efforts analysing data, optimizing channels, and uncovering insights that drive real impact. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll translate complex data into clear, compelling recommendations that influence strategy and decision-making.

Additionally, you’ll take ownership of high-impact projects, turning opportunities into actionable initiatives and ensuring their successful execution. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data and customer insights, and a drive to continuously test, learn, and optimise our acquisition strategies.

Principal Accountabilities

This role requires a highly analytical, proactive, and execution-focused professional who can leverage data insights, collaborate cross-functionally, and implement strategies that drive sustainable customer acquisition and growth.

  • Data-Driven Insights & Strategic Recommendations: Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to optimise the acquisition strategy.
  • Customer Segmentation & experimentation: Identify high-value customer segments and refine acquisition strategies through continuous testing and experimentation.
  • Revenue & Profitability Tracking: Monitor lifetime value (LTV) and profitability KPIs to evaluate the financial impact of growth initiatives and ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, customer success, and data teams to align on acquisition strategies and provide teams with actionable insights.

Personal Attributes & Experience

  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to independently analyse complex datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to optimize customer acquisition.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Recognizes false assumptions, applies structured thinking to solve challenges, and proposes creative, scalable solutions to business problems.
  • Ownership & Execution Focus: Takes full ownership of projects, consistently delivering high-quality work on time, resolving issues, and implementing automation for operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Works closely with cross-functional teams to align on acquisition strategies, share insights, and drive collective decision-making, ensuring seamless execution and strategic alignment.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Proficient in excel and SQL with experience using BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Looker) to track and visualize key growth and acquisition metrics.
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Designs, executes, and analyses A/B tests and experiments to refine customer acquisition strategies and improve performance.
  • Revenue & Growth Metrics: Strong understanding of financial and customer KPIs, including LTV, CAC, churn, and retention, with experience tracking revenue impact and profitability.
  • Presentation & Storytelling: Crafts compelling, data-driven presentations that simplify complex insights, influence decision-making, and align stakeholders on growth strategies.
  • Automation & Technical Execution: Experience in implementing and optimizing CRM, marketing automation, and workflow tools such as HubSpot.
  • Project Ownership & Execution: Ability to lead and execute projects from analysis to implementation, working autonomously while aligning with broader growth objectives.
  • An educational background in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or Finance would be highly beneficial
