Job summary

Santander UK plc is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager in Milton Keynes to lead UK group consolidation and financial reporting in a rapidly evolving, risk-aware environment. The role supports the CFO division and reports on UK GAAP disclosures and external reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA, strong stakeholder communication skills, and a background in financial services consolidation, with a focus on accuracy and process robustness.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience in UK public company reporting environment required.
• Group consolidation and financial reporting experience in financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive consolidation and reporting for UK entities including post-acquisition integration.
• Act as main point of contact with auditors regarding reports and controls.
• Collaborate with Technical Reporting on accounting and disclosure solutions across Santander UK.
• Prepare information for annual, half-yearly and quarterly reports for Santander UK Group Holdings plc and Santander UK plc.
