Job summary

ACCA Careers is recruiting for a high-profile role within a leading FTSE Engineering group based in Derbyshire. The post holder will report to the Head of Group Reporting, coordinating external reporting deadlines and ensuring efficient external audit delivery across the Group.

You will influence across divisions in a complex international matrix, requiring up-to-date technical accounting expertise and a solution-driven mindset. Hybrid working is offered: 3 days at the Derby HQ, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACCA with practice/audit background and exposure to PLC reporting.
• Experience coordinating external reporting deadlines and audits is preferred.
• Ability to influence across a complex, international matrix structure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the group's external reporting deadlines and drive efficient audit delivery.
• Work with Group Financial Control, Group Technical Accounting and finance teams across divisions.
• Influence across divisions to improve deliverables and processes; no direct reports.
• Ensure robust programme management and strong relationships with external auditors.
