Lawfront is a fast-growing national legal services business seeking a Group Management Accountant for a 12-month FTC. You will support financial reporting across the Group, manage month-end close, consolidations, and audit coordination in a multi-entity environment.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will prepare management accounts, board packs and provide insightful analyses for senior stakeholders, contributing to finance transformation and post-acquisition integration.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or near completion.
• Proven experience in group accounting and multi-entity reporting.
• Strong month-end close, consolidation and audit support skills.
• Advanced Excel and clear stakeholder communication.
• Experience with acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration.

Responsabilités

Lawfront is a fast-growing national legal services business, bringing together leading regional law firms to create a stronger, more innovative platform for clients and colleagues alike. With an acquisitive growth strategy and a focus on operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced Group Management Accountant to join our central finance team for an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract and play a key role in supporting the financial management of the Group.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality financial reporting across the Group. This is a varied and hands-on role offering exposure to group reporting, consolidations, audit management, finance transformation projects and acquisition accounting within a complex multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process across multiple group entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Lead month-end accounting activities for holding companies, including journals, reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Prepare monthly group management accounts, board packs and insightful financial analysis.
• Deliver meaningful variance analysis, KPI reporting and performance commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Act as a key contact during the annual audit process, liaising with auditors and finance teams across the Group.
• Support acquisition accounting activities and assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including systems implementation and reporting enhancements.
• Partner with Finance Directors, Managing Partners and senior business leaders across the organisation.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

You Will Ideally Have

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be nearing completion).
• Proven experience in a Group Accountant, Management Accountant or Financial Accountant position
• Strong month-end close and management reporting experience within a multi-entity environment.
• Experience preparing consolidated management accounts and group reporting.
• Excellent reconciliation and financial analysis skills.
• Experience supporting external audits and financial control processes
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
• Acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration.
• Finance transformation projects and systems implementations.
• Exposure to FP&A systems or practice management platforms such as Aderant.
• Professional services, legal or private equity-backed businesses.
