Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis seeks a Group Finance Manager - Financial Accounting and Control to lead statutory accounts for the Group and subsidiaries, coordinate audits, and ensure accurate regulatory returns. You will partner with the Head of Financial Accounting and Control to strengthen financial controls and deliver high-quality reporting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CCAB accounting qualification.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts end-to-end, ideally at Group level within social housing.
• Significant experience leading and coordinating interim and year-end audits with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Experience of regulatory financial returns and filings with timely, accurate submissions.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and ability to develop and improve control frameworks across Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for the Group and subsidiaries, ensuring high-quality reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly, interim and year-end audits across Group entities.
• Develop and manage the year-end audit timetable with auditors and NHG colleagues.
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of regulatory returns and filings.
• Support the Head of Financial Accounting and Control across Group accounting activities.
• Lead monthly intercompany reconciliations and provide insights into financial performance.
• Prepare reporting for senior management and relevant committees.
• Enhance internal controls and respond to audit findings and recommendations.
