Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis invites applications for a strategic Head of Financial Accounting and Control in London. Hybrid role with responsibilities for leading external reporting, technical accounting guidance, and governance over controls, policies, and systems.

You will drive timely financial reporting across the Group, support resident-focused outcomes, and guide senior Finance colleagues in delivering high-quality statements and responses to regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualified with ongoing CPD where applicable.
• Extensive experience in statutory financial statements for Group structures.
• Knowledge of social housing sector regulatory returns and filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual preparation and external publication of the Group and subsidiaries' statutory financial statements.
• Oversee quarterly financial statements and bi-annual results for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Establish and maintain a robust reconciliation framework across Finance with clear accountabilities.
• Ensure internal controls and financial policies are reviewed annually and updated.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and statutory returns on time, including filings with Companies House.
• Lead the interim and year-end audit process with external auditors.
