Thetford-based business is seeking an experienced Senior Group Accountant to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support the Group Finance function with robust financial reporting, controls and timely management information across the group.

In this role you will lead group accounting activities, manage month-end and year-end close, review consolidated accounts and liaise with auditors, while identifying process improvements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Formación

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Senior financial accounting or group accounting background.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and multi-entity reporting.
• Experience with month-end/year-end close, reconciliations and controls.
• Understanding of group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Analytical mindset and clear communication of financial information.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate group accounting activities across the organisation.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Prepare and review group management accounts and reconciliations.
• Support consolidation and intercompany adjustments.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and compliance with standards.
• Analyse variances to support business decisions and reporting.
• Assist with statutory reporting and year-end audit activities.
• Ensure finance controls and process improvements across the function.
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders on queries and data quality.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting as required.
