Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee groundworks on a residential housing development in Norfolk. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and plant, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience, SMSTS and CSCS credentials, and the ability to read drawings and manage budgets, programmes and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Manager on residential housing developments.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage and infrastructure packages.
• Valid SMSTS certificate (essential).
• Valid CSCS card.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site levels.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all groundworks activities across a residential housing development.
• Manage foundations, drainage, roads and sewers, plot works, levels and external works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Monitor progress against programme and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality control and site organisation.
• Liaise with engineers, suppliers and the wider site management team.
• Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.
