BROWNS is seeking an experienced Groundsperson to run an efficient, organised and safe ground operation on site in the Milton Keynes area. You’ll support climbers, manage the work area and ensure every site runs smoothly from start to finish.

The role involves coordinating duties with the climbing team, preparing rigging equipment, operating woodchippers and daily maintenance of machinery while upholding high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

Solid experience in tree surgery and ground operations.
Full UK driving licence.
Committed to safety and high standards.

Responsibilities

Run the ground operation on site.
Support climbers during dismantles and pruning.
Prepare rigging equipment and assist with lowering operations.
Operate woodchippers safely and efficiently.
Carry out chainsaw work including snedding and timber processing.
Keep timber, brash and equipment organised.
Manage site safety for the public and team.
Load and unload vehicles and equipment.
Daily maintenance and care of machinery and tools.
Uphold high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
