Job summary

Browns Tree Solutions Ltd is seeking a Groundsperson to join its growing arboricultural team. Based near Great Brickhill / Milton Keynes, the role focuses on safe, efficient ground operations and supporting climbers on varied tree work.

We welcome trainees and arb students, with training and development opportunities provided. A strong work ethic and team spirit are essential for progression in a family-run business with over 30 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Previous tree surgery / arboricultural experience
• CS30 / CS31 or current equivalent
• Woodchipper qualification
• Emergency First Aid +F
• Full UK driving licence
• Good understanding of safe arboricultural practices

Responsibilities

• Support climbers during pruning and dismantling operations
• Run an organised and efficient ground operation
• Process brash and timber
• Operate woodchippers and other machinery
• Conduct chainsaw work including cross-cutting and snedding
• Assist with rigging and lowering operations
• Site set-up, management and clear-down
• Maintain safe working and drop zones
• Load and organise vehicles, tools and equipment
• Care for machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with the team to complete jobs safely and efficiently
