Job summary

Fastned UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager Grid, Consents and Utilities to lead grid connections, utility diversions, highway consents, and landlord agreements across our UK charging station deployment. You will drive on-time site openings, manage the critical path, and report progress to the Senior Construction Lead.

You will engage landlords, DNOs, IDNOs, and other stakeholders, maintain schedules, mitigate risks, and mentor junior colleagues within a nine-person UK Construction team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management and construction.
• Experience working with legal contracts, grid connections, utilities, and consents.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to mentor junior colleagues and manage complex programmes.

Responsibilities

• Owning grid, utilities, and consents works programme and milestones.
• Managing landlord relationships and substation leases with legal collaboration.
• Delivering utility diversions and build-over agreements.
• Leading commercial negotiations with IDNOs and third-party landowners.
• Overseeing highway consents and relationships with highway authorities.
