Job summary

University of Chichester seeks a Governance and Compliance professional to provide professional support across the University and its designated partnerships. The postholder will assist the University Board, its committees and local governing bodies, ensuring governance arrangements, records, policies, meetings and published information meet legal and institutional requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance or compliance roles.
• Knowledge of governing bodies, committees and LGB structures.
• Ability to provide accurate, timely advisory papers.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance and compliance support to the university and partnerships.
• Support Boards, committees and local governing bodies with papers and minutes.
• Maintain governance records and ensure statutory compliance.
• Coordinate policy development, reviews and publications.
• Assist with inductions and ongoing development of governors and trustees.
• Prepare agendas, circulate papers, confirm quorum and document decisions.
