Job summary

bet365 in Manchester is seeking a Senior Software Developer to shape internal development processes and build high-profile, full-stack Golang systems for our global engineering teams.

The Platform team drives automation, tooling, and visibility, focusing on greenfield projects and impactful solutions adopted across the business. The role is eligible for our hybrid work from home policy and requires strong leadership and hands-on technical skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive production-grade Golang experience.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear designs.
• Experience mentoring mid-level and junior developers.
• Track record of improving team processes, tooling and development standards.
• Comfortable with full-stack development and web-based tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of high-profile Golang applications and services.
• Own complex greenfield projects from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to developers.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with actionable recommendations and enforce coding standards.
