Job summary

bet365 Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Verification team, helping to architect and deliver a ground-up re-architecture using Golang, React and cloud platforms.

You will lead and mentor a small team, define solution design, and ensure high-quality, scalable, available systems that meet business needs in a fast-paced environment. The role supports a hybrid work-from-home policy.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .Net, Golang and Typescript; expertise in similar technologies welcome.
• Experience in leading development teams and delivering projects to completion.
• Ability to mentor and coach staff with good technical documentation skills.
• Experience with high availability, multiuser and service-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a point of escalation for the team during and outside office hours.
• Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
• Govern design to ensure code quality and delivery standards.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver accurate effort estimates.
• Own technical solutions from development to live deployment and mentor teammates.
