Job summary

TechTree is building AI systems to help organisations detect and respond to disinformation in real time. We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer - backend-leaning, with frontend comfort, to own end-to-end features and architect solutions from day one. You'll work across backend and frontend in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment with autonomous ownership.

The team is ~15 people and growing. The role includes remote work with travel to London roughly every six weeks.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend-leaning full-stack with frontend comfort.
• Go experience preferred; strong interest in learning Go welcomed.
• Versatility across languages; C# or Java acceptable if moving to Go.
• Experience designing and implementing systems from scratch.
• Comfortable making architectural decisions independently without established frameworks.
• Startup experience or building products from scratch.
• Strong communicator for a remote-first team and London meetups.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end features across backend and frontend
• Build scalable systems from the ground up
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering on architecture and technology choices
• Explore and experiment with new technologies and approaches
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and ensure performance across full-stack applications
