Job summary

Tempcover is hiring a Senior Engineer in London to help overhaul and modernise its insurance tech systems. You will own critical components, drive Go adoption, and work across public-facing and internal services with a focus on reliability and performance.

The role offers a hybrid pattern with in-office days in Tower Bridge and monthly Fleet office visits, plus a generous benefits package and a strong culture of learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building large-scale Go applications.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambdas, DynamoDB) and Azure DevOps.
• Containerisation and IaC with Terraform; SST a plus.
• Knowledge of design patterns and development methodologies.
• Experience with React/Typescript/Astro/NodeJS is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities.
