Job summary

Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for k6 Core in the United Kingdom. This remote role involves building and maintaining the k6 performance testing tool, collaborating with engineers, and contributing to the open-source project.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production software in Go or similar language with concurrency support.
• Experience working on large, long-lived codebases.
• Independent problem solving with delivery focus.
• Clear technical communication in code reviews and design discussions.
• Good understanding of internet protocols (HTTP, gRPC, WebSockets) and networking concepts.
• Experience with modern development practices, including testing and iterative development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain k6 core, a performance testing tool in Go.
