Job summary

Spirent Positioning Technology, part of the Spirent family, seeks an Expert Technical Support Engineer with deep GNSS, RF, Linux, and networking expertise to lead complex technical challenges and drive improvements. You will mentor teams, influence product decisions, and improve support readiness while serving strategic customers.

You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Professional Services to embed the customer voice into the product lifecycle and to design scalable support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 10+ years in technical support, field engineering, or systems integration.
• Proven ability to lead investigations and influence engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final escalation point for complex, business-critical issues across software and hardware.
• Lead root cause investigations across cross-domain environments with Product, R&D, QA and Field Eng.
• Develop diagnostic tools and automation to improve support efficiency.
• Lead post-incident reviews with clear remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with key accounts to address long-term technical challenges and escalations.
