Leonardo UK Ltd. is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Fusion (GNCF) Engineer to design, develop and verify navigation systems for airborne, maritime and land platforms. You will work across the full lifecycle from concept to integration in a multidisciplinary, multi-national team.

The role involves advanced filtering, AI-enabled algorithms, autonomy, and collaboration with hardware teams. A security clearance requirement is noted, and a hybrid, permanent contract in the UK is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering or equivalent.
• Understanding of navigation principles and estimation theory.
• Knowledge of GNSS/GPS, INS, IMU, sensor fusion.
• Experience with Kalman Filters or related estimation approaches.
• Experience using MATLAB and Simulink for modelling and simulation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
