Job summary

Cloud Imperium Games is seeking an IT Network Engineer to own the corporate network across multiple studios, including Manchester, Austin, Frankfurt, and Montreal. The role focuses on switching, routing, wireless, VPN, and inter-site connectivity to support high-throughput workflows.

Ideal candidates have CCNP-level expertise, with experience in BGP/OSPF, firewalls, and cloud networking across GCP/Azure/AWS. The position requires calm, methodical work under pressure and a passion for networking.

Qualifications

• Deep enterprise networking experience across switching, routing, and VPN.
• Experience with multi-site networks and high data volumes.
• Familiarity with network security and firewalls.
• Ability to learn Windows, cloud, identity and access basics.
• Experience with network automation or IaC tools.
• Cloud networking exposure across GCP, Azure, or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own the corporate network across sites (Manchester, Austin, Frankfurt, Montreal).
• Manage network performance for high-throughput workloads.
• Design and maintain segmentation and zero-trust access.
• Lead monitoring, capacity planning, and documentation.
• Manage vendors and circuits for ISPs and hardware.
• Provide cross-coverage and on-call for incidents.
