Due to the nature of the connections we need to set up an agile framework that’s in tune with our consumer conversations and behaviors in order to deliver outsized impact, drive talkability, and build world class executions that drive brand awareness and desire.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Creative

  • Co-lead on Content development with a focus on ensuring brand consistency, creative quality, and cross-function collaboration in identifying influencers, content partners, outreach models, etc, while always keeping consumer at the heart
  • Co-lead on new ‘Fame Operational Model’ ways of working both internally and with agency partners, driving ‘Drumbeat and Statement’ brand activities to ensure best practice execution as per brand guidelines and maximizing talkability
  • Lead the development and implementation of Social & Digital Strategy, including Social Calendar Toolkit, Audio Toolkit, Social Aesthetic, Social Governance, etc.
  • Assist in delivering of communications strategy, connections planning, and all marketing material with the integrated agency teams
  • Assist in the coordination of production shoots, campaigns, toolkits, and tentpole programs
  • Collaborate with markets for input and briefing on asset needs across functions and regions and coordinate with agency for timely content adaptation and delivery
  • Work with TikTok, Meta, X, Pinterest, Spotify, YouTube and other digital partners to update markets on new functionalities and being up to date with industry changes and new features
  • Utilize Creative X and other tools to ensure adherence to platform best practices
  • Coordinate with community management on daily sweeps and social listening, and coordinate with relevant team member in market on consumer marketing queries coming from social and Bacardi.com.

Stakeholder Management

  • Co-lead agency relationship and IAT with global agency partners
  • Embedded in the BACARDÍ Global Brand and Market Teams, working closely with the Global Brand VP, Global Brand Director, Comms VP, Centers of Excellence leads, and Brand Market Leads
  • Serve as daily market liaison, and cross-functional collaborator with Media, Brand PR, Corporate Comms
  • Establish strong partnership and relationship with Regional Market Leads to assist and deliver content, social and digital needs to deliver with excellence
  • Quarterly comms newsletter and comms cascade to markets
  • Assist in developing internal comms materials (sizzle videos, presentations) for key commercial meetings, stakeholder meetings, brand team meetings, IATs, etc.

Assets Management

  • Management of assets library and maintaining up-to-date asset records
  • Management of rights and usage renewals
  • Assist on all content publishing for all owned channels including Bacardi.com, pre-flight testing through Creative X, content upload through Bacardi DMP Portal, and social account access through SPIKA
  • Liaise with Omnicom Production/EG+ on assets management
  • Liaise with wider team to ensure content is created as per brand guidelines, digital playbook and cultural calendar
  • Daily liaison with IAT to deliver marketing programs through owned and paid content, influencers, and media across channels

Compliance & Responsible Marketing

  • Coordinating with CSR, IP, Legal, Corporate Comms, Archive, etc on reviews and approvals
  • Ensure compliance across all content with Responsible Marketing rules and regulations for all key markets

Finance

  • Managing Global Comms budget – keeping the finance tracker up to date, raising purchase orders, fulfilling audit requests, and partnering with Finance on monthly and quarterly budget reconciliations

Measurement and Reporting

  • Social listening and on-going monitoring
  • Assist in the delivery of social & digital measurement reports
  • Assist in developing Insight from social communities

Skills And Experience

  • 10+ years experience of agency and/or brand management experience (agency of record experience strongly preferred)
  • Understand People & Culture: Practitioner to Advanced
  • Develop Winning Strategies: Practitioner to Advanced
  • Impact Culture through Creativity: Practitioner to Advanced
  • Proven track record of delivering strong creative, digital and culturally relevant content especially in digital formats
  • Highly creative, an expert in the category and know-how to get to great work
  • Experience in leading culturally relevant/lifestyle brands and in touch with emerging consumer trends and media landscape
  • Sharp knowledge on competitor activity and best-in-class work in and out of the category, sharing with the team on a timely basis
  • Able to act and think in an agile, flexible way, detail-oriented and passionate about the execution
  • Extremely organized, able to manage complex production across multiple media channels, communication cascades and sharing files across SharePoint, maintaining contact sheet with agencies
  • Strong leadership capabilities with ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization and across multiple agency teams
  • Expert in MS Office, Content Hub, DMP Portal, and especially strong in creating and delivering impactful PowerPoint presentations
