Job Description:

Global Project Lead – Clinical Software Deployment: On-Premise / Enterprise Solutions

Employment: Contract, 12-month contract with potential to extend

This is a fixed-term contract for a highly experienced professional to transform and standardise the Company's software deployment strategy. Our client offers a range of software solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of radiation therapy and oncology treatment.

Today, they deploy their software via various methods, offering on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Their approach to deploying and upgrading software is inconsistent, and for some of our products, it can be somewhat cumbersome, slow and prone to human error.

This is why they are seeking a Global Project Leader to engage with the professionals who have extensive experience in deploying enterprise software into clinical environments, and their customers who have purchased the software - cancer hospitals all around the world!

Your role will be to evaluate their current approach and bring proposals for a future state where software deployment is simplified, consistent and performed in accelerated timelines that delight customers.

The engagement expectations and requirements

  • A fixed-term contract with a highly experienced professional to transform and standardise the software deployment strategy
  • Work with key stakeholders across their organisation to evaluate the current deployment approach across the software portfolio with a priority focus on certain defined solutions
  • Using best practice industry standards, make recommendations on how to evolve their product deployment strategy and processes to deploy software into clinical environments in a simplified, efficient and consistent manner with short-term quick wins and longer-term transformational changes
  • Relevant experience with enterprise software deployments such as SAP, Oracle or EMRs such as EPIC, Cerner etc
  • Expertise in taking enterprise software payloads from on-premises to public cloud platforms
  • Act as a consultant to their engineering teams to advise on and support enterprise software deployment improvements
  • The individual must be able to travel to various office locations, including London – UK, San Jose – USA and Shanghai – China.

About the Company:

They are a successful and innovative company that is a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Technologies. This is a rare opportunity to work in a company that is truly innovating in the market.

You will be a part of a current project in the company to change and improve their process of on-premise Enterprise Software Deployment, impacting thousands of hospitals worldwide that treat millions of patients every year. This is a true change management role, with the company wanting a fresh pair of eyes, new thinking, adventurous ideas and winning strategies to not only benefit their existing customers, but to also provide a potential benefit vs. competitors.

Is this for you?

If having an impact on how Cancer is treated is important to you, then it’s a YES!

This could be an ideal move for someone working in Radiotherapy, Radiology or the Medical Devices Sector, and has experience with Enterprise Software Deployment to clinics already.

Alternatively, this could also be an amazing segue for someone in another sector who wants to be involved in healthcare. Someone who is used to having a global impact and understands how important software is in the process. Sectors such as Security, Aviation, Finance and other sectors where software deployment carries huge responsibility for the improvement of processes, but most importantly, safety, will be an ideal proving ground.

If you are the right person, you will know that your background translates well into clinical software deployment.

Prerequisites:

Firstly, you must be based in the LONDON area and have the right to work in the UK.

Secondly, you must also have a proven track record in Global Software Deployment at a Senior Level, with a Project Lead/Change Manager Background.

Finally, you must be interested in Radiotherapy, but you don't necessarily need to be experienced in Radiotherapy.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you're ready to embrace a new challenge that truly involves change, we want to hear from you. Apply today and become a key player in shaping the future of radiotherapy.
