Job summary

Wellington Management, based in London, is seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to support day-to-day processing and validation of global corporate action events. The role collaborates with Trading, Portfolio Management, Legal, and other teams to ensure accurate client entitlements and data integrity.

The position offers a hybrid London office arrangement with four days in the office and one day remote weekly.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience with a focus on corporate actions and portfolio accounting.
• Knowledge of life cycle of global corporate action events across asset classes; tax withholding knowledge a plus.
• Experience with derivatives, especially corporate action processing on derivatives.
• Experience reviewing Market/Company offering documents to interpret and communicate event details correctly.
• Experience working with vendor products and technology.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced work environment while managing risk, deadlines, and ambiguities.
• Analytical in approach to issue resolution.
• Customer service competency with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess a passion for intellectual curiosity, problem solving, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve workflows with corporate action service providers, custodians, and internal clients.
• Provide analysis of complex voluntary events to portfolio management.
• Execute daily processing/validation of corporate action data across platforms in alignment with market practice.
• Research and resolve in-conflict action details, communicate voluntary instructions, and confirm client entitlements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiencies and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with internal and external groups to resolve complex action issues.
• Represent Corporate Actions at interdepartmental and external meetings.
